Ismini Guest House is a wonderful converted Venetian Building, in Kalives of Chania. The Guest House has been lovingly converted from a 400 year old Venetian building. Stone arches and high beamed and paneled ceilings give it a feeling of space and light. The house is beautifully furnished with both antique and new pieces.
The ground floor is open plan. Through the front door there is an entrance hall, off which opens a WC. Some steps lead down to a living room with a small kitchen in the corner. The two built-in sofas can both be used as beds if required. A high stone-arched doorway leads onto an exceptionally large vine-covered veranda overlooking the garden and the sea beyond.
The master bedroom has a double bed and French doors onto a balcony overlooking the garden and beach. The second bedroom has two single beds - one a traditional Cretan gallery bed. There is also washing machine, safe box, hair dryer and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a small bath/shower, WC, and basin. A wooden stair gate guards the top of the stairs leading down to the entrance hall.
